Mentors who have altered my life:  My 8th grade biology teacher Mrs. Figura saw my passion for biology and invited me to a cancer biology symposium which inspired me to conduct cancer biology research 

 In my time off, I enjoy: Yoga, crochet, singing in my cappella group, and tubing down the Huron River

 What major, other than your own, would you enjoy?  I would have loved to teach women, gender, and sexuality studies courses
